Hey guys. As you know our selection for January is Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. The film is scheduled to be released this month, January 23, 2009. You can click on the link below to watch the trailor. As soon as showtimes are listed, we will select a date to try to view at the same time and possibly meet afterwards to discuss it. I know I will be out of town that weekend. We will look to go the following week January 30 providing it reaches our local theatres. There is still a wide interest in getting together for a Twilight party, so we will see what January brings.

A Twilight party sounds soo cool since most of the Radical readers did not go to the movie. I think it will be tons of fun! I’m not really sure about Inkheart yet I picked up and the beginnings really strange but then I kinda quit because I found another book. BUT I will read it!

Big Rach, I would still love for us to go see City of Ember if it ever comes around here. If not, we might meet for DVD viewing and party when it is released.

I started reading inkheart a few days ago and I’m half way through. It’s so good! I can’t wait untill the movie comes out.

Me either, and I just found out I will be here on the evening of Jan 23. If it comes out here on that day, we can go Jan 23 to view it. I will check Fandango.

I know i’m not with the Radical Readers or anything but I just wanted to let you know that inkheart is a little strange, but once you get going it is really good. It’s the same way with all 3 books. Oh, and City of Ember came out on DVD last week. Enjoy.
